1. Can they be used on a fireplace?

It is not recommended to use them on the fireplace as they conduct and absorb heat. Ours are used on a kitchen backsplash only.

2. Are you supposed to grout between these? Also, how do you remove stains?

It needs to be grouted the stainless steel does not have any absorption ratio so you can clean with a regular cloth and clean every 2 years with stainless steel cleaner.
